Welcome to the Internet Site of Quodlibet Online Journal of Christian Theology and Philosophy ("Quodlibet Journal").

Please read the following Terms of Use carefully.

Restriction On Use of Materials

  • Each article appearing in Quodlibet Journal is the copyrighted intellectual property of the article's author and Quodlibet Journal.

  • Reproduction of entire articles for purposes other than personal reading is not granted without written permission from Quodlibet.

  • Reproduction of portions of any article for academic purposes will be granted by Quodlibet Journal ONLY under the following stipulations:
    1. Reference or credit to the article's author, the name and issue of Quodlibet Journal, and the article's Internet address (URL) must be visibly displayed in the body, notes or bibliography of the work in which the reproduction appears.
    2. The portion reproduced will be used in such a manner as to attribute its ideas and text to the reproduced article's author.

  • Failure to abide by these stipulations will be deemed copyright infringement and potentially plagiarism.


We welcome the submission of academic papers by scholars, students and studied laymen for potential publication in Quodlibet Journal. Due to the specific nature of Quodlibet Journal's objectives and readership, we request that submissions be limited to scholarly works of relevance to the fields of Christian theology, Christian philosophy, or topics in some meaningful way related to academic Christian dialogue. Quodlibet Journal does not accept or consider creative ideas, suggestions, or materials other than those of the nature that we have here specifically requested. No submission shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on our part and we shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of any submission.

Whether chosen for publication or not, each submission remains the intellectual property of its author. Quodlibet Journal will not utilize or publish the content or primary ideas of any submission without the author's consent. Once published, author's have the right to retract their article from the Internet site of Quodlibet Journal. Requests for retraction must be made to the Editor of Quodlibet. Once retracted, an article will remain permanently removed from Quodlibet Journal.

Content Linked From Quodlibet Journal

Quodlibet Journal will not be held responsible for the content or ideas contained in Internet Sites linked from Quodlibet Journal or any article therein. Many articles contain links in bibliographic references. Given the fluidity of Internet content and Internet domain ownership, it is possible that Internet sites relevant to the article at the time of its publication may change dramatically over the course of time. This will often occur completely unbeknownst to the author and Quodlibet Journal. Should you discover a link within the Internet site of Quodlibet Journal leading to indecent or hateful content, we ask that you contact the Editor of Quodlibet Journal with the URL in question and the article in which the link appears.
